Madrid for gay capital of the world
Madrid announced they will be in the top5 gay locations of the world according the gay capital of the world list. This year Rio de Janeiro is the winner, in the next following years Madrid will take care to get this title or at least in the being in the top 5.
The government department of gay tourism of Madrid said , Madrid the most attractive and popular gay location in whole Spain. With this they leave Barcelona, Torremolinos and Gran Canaria and Sitges behind them. We where in Madrid ourselves for several times and we agree Madrid is a wonderful gay location to travel to especially during gay-pride but in our opinion it’s nothing to compare with holiday locations like Gran Canaria, Sitges and the other places it’s a complete different type of visit a place … compare Sun, beach, terraces and a nice climate with high buildings, many people and still freezing in the winter.
The 3 million gay people who visit Madrid spend everyday around the 130 euro’s in the 500 businesses which are gay or gay friendly all over the city. Also gay sport activity and cultural events are organized by the Madrid gay society.
Madrid is a very nice city but we always say to people who lived in the big city …
You all have the clock but we on Gran canaria have the time …
