African gays more often AIDS.
African gays are 10 times more often infected with HIV. According the scientific
magazine the Lancet prejustions are a big reason for these numbers. The researchers
of the Oxford University think that the high numbers of infections in the Sub-Sahara
Africa zone are the result of the cultural, religious and political unwillingness,
to accept gay men as equally in the society.
The taboo around this group makes them very difficult to
reach for relief workers. But ofcourse the risks are not limited to gay men
only. Many of these gay men have relationships with women to hide their sexuality.
