Colours making the men... Or was it clothes

2009-06-19 21:04
Colours making the men …. Or was it clothes.

Well clothes making the man is not a new phrase, even so, colours are leading the trend.
The trends of fashion are mostly dictated by the colours and every season there are new trend colours. Recently though, luckily enough, the colours have not altered a lot to the previous seasons, so we could use the items a bit longer than was the case five or six years ago, when the change was so much greater. .

Colours like soft yellow, olive green, baby blue are absolutely the summer colours of 2009.
Next to the always good black, white and grey, are the contrast colours, the right combinations like Ferrari red, bright yellow and purple.

In past seasons, mixing the colours together was absolutely not done, but this summer you can mix and match them to trend-up your style! Colours like pastel tints of the whole rainbow are easy to combine. They all look over washed, but for those people who think ,oh that’s easy I can use the shirts of three or four years ago, well actually, NO!!! Some styles are making a difference and colours which look over washed are not the same as the new colour range used in the newest collections.

Then metallic fabrics and space-age like items are some must haves in your closet. Belts, jackets, bags are some ideas to use for your up to date summer look. The combination of all these together is risky, but absolutely the right choice amongst the fashion victims around us.

Dare to combine colours and fabrics with styles and you’ll be fashionable like never before!
